The Sicce AQUA FILTRA 40 Replacement Complete Cartridge is the easiest way to restore your filter to its original performance, ensuring your aquarium inhabitants thrive in a clean and stable environment.
Mechanical & Biological Stage: The process starts with the durable 20 PPI sponge, which physically traps waste and uneaten food. Its porous structure also serves as the ideal home for the nitrifying bacteria that form the backbone of your aquarium's ecosystem, converting toxic ammonia and nitrite into safer compounds.
Chemical Stage: Water then passes through the chemical core, where premium activated carbon removes odors and impurities, while zeolite specifically targets and neutralizes harmful ammonia.

Installation and Maintenance
