Reverse Osmosis & ATO

Reverse Osmosis RO systems remove impurities from your aquarium water such as chlorine, chloramines, pesticides, phosphates, heavy metals, and many others. Some of these impurities can lead to the growth of nuisance algae, while others may cause much bigger problems. The DI (De-Ionizing) cartridge does an excellent job removing phosphates, silicates, and nitrates from your tap water. Reverse Osmosis filters are highly recommended for reef tanks, Discus, and other South American Cichlid tanks and will also provide great benefits to any other type of aquarium setup. Numerous installation accessories are available for these reverse osmosis units including pressure pumps, reverse osmosis tubing and fittings, and replacement cartridges.
