Great heater just bought one and it's perfect
Great heater worth the money spent

Lungfish is Super Happy
Our lungfish Captain Hook is super happy in his pond. We got him this 500 watt heater and keeps him at a stable temperature. Currently pond is filled to about 50-60 gallons. I imagine this will still work well when we have it closer to its 140 gallon capacity. Will probably only fill it to about 100 gallons as he likes to panic when we do water changes. With the new heater and the pond switch he has been less stressed from water changes. The guard keeps him from being burnt as he has a habit of sleeping on the heater. Also keeps it from melting the stock tub that we are using for a pond. Love that we do not have to worry about a glass heater potentially exploding or breaking with him moving it on occasion. Very happy with this purchase. Third or fourth of the Finnex that I have purchased and definately my go to for peace of mind. Just make sure you mount it horizontally. I plan to upgrade the other three tanks with Finnex heaters in the future when I have extra cash. Aquacave has sales for holidays and always is $20-30 or more cheaper than local petstores and chains in the area. I have used their customer service before and they stood behind their product.

Great Product!
Purchased this to try out on a 250 gallon tank not expecting much. Worked much better than expected and purchasing three more!
