Well Made, Compact but with an Inconvenience
The heater seems well made, and so far it works well. I have used it for only about 1 week, thus I cannot tell how durable it is. One thing that is obvious to me is that I had no choice but to use an extension cord to plug it in. Normally, for a heating device like this, the recommendation is NOT to use an extension cord! The cord from the thermostat to the plug is only about 6" long! Unless I put my fish tank on the floor, it is impossible to use it as is! My tank has to be on a stand, to be inconspicuous from the eyes of my cat otherwise, the tank will become her drinking, and snacking station, too! I think for the price, this segment of the power cord should be at least 6' long to be more reasonably realistic!
