Worth the Price
This heater is my go to for all of my tanks as I work on upgrading. From my Synspilum cichlid who likes to beat his heater against the tank when hungry to my lungfish who thinks his heater with the guard is a perch. This heater withstands all the abuse they can dish out while providing a consistent temperature and preventing burns. With the exception of when I installed one incorrectly (make sure it is horizontal and kept completely submerged) I have never had one of these fail on me and have had some of them for years. I cannot wait until I finish upgrading all of my tanks to these as my budget allows. Well worth the cost!<br>
