There are 10 total speed settings. Each reduction down from 100% in output reduces the pumps.

Simplicity return pump

Took a chance and tried to save money on a no-name pump from Amazon. BIG mistake! Ran for an hour and just shut off for 5 minutes during which time, the sump almost overflowed. Had to put my old pump back in. Came back to AquaCave and ordered the Simplicity DC-1000 pump. This is a very strong pump. My overflow made more noise from the extra water volume but all I had to do was adjust pump speed and now I'm good to go. Very happy with my purchase. Learned my lesson.

Works great! Silent

Nothing negative to say. It's been running for about 3 months and has not needed to clean yet. There was some noise at the beginning few weeks but is dead silent now. It's so cheap, I bought a 2nd as a backup or when I need to clean.
