Simplicity 800dc
Super quiet, reliable, and efficient. I purchased this beast for a 400 gallon medium bio load. Break in period was almost instant. Very happy with this purchase. Will definitely keep simplicity in mind for future purchases.

Excellent footprint
I purchased the 800 model a week ago for for fowl heavy bio load 220 tank. I previously had the reef octopus elite 220 skimmer on this tank and i was not overly impressed by this skimmer especially for the price of $700. So far so good with the simplicity skimmer. Very easy to set up, minimal noise, easy to adjust, large collection cup, and i like that you can change the air intake level unlike the reef octopus. The quality is high and well made. The only negative that i see is there is no float valve like the reef octopus.

Awesome skimmer
I have 2 simplicity skimmers are love them both. I got this for a large multi tank common sump system I am setting up, and immediately upon turning it on it started pulling awesome skimmate. The small footprint for this size of skimmer is hard to beat. I love the customer service that I contacted for my other skimmer. Definately would recommend.

Amazing skimmer!!
I’ve had saltwater tanks since 1998, this is by far the cheapest, ultra silent, controllable, most effective skimmer I’ve owned. Plug and play unit, the dc 800 is in my 400 gallon heavily stock tank with lots of angels, tangs, and ton of coral. I over feed my tank, so every fish can eat. This skimmer is a monster. Highly recommend. Build quality is amazing. Love it!
