Poor pump quality

I have the same experience as the previous reviewer. My Eshopp skimmer PSK 1200 pump failed with the impeller split reported on other sites. I guess that is why retailers are stocking these parts. So I will replace the pump, since it may be the only pump that fits the skimmer.

Great service by Acquacave getting me the replacement pump quickly.<br>I have a Skimz SK204 skimmer for my tank and the original PSK 1200 pump failed after 14 months of use. I did periodically clean the pump and I did not find anything stuck in the pump that would have caused it to fail. I think the pump should last longer.
