Sera Flore Active CO2 Reactor 500 - Small 66-160 Gal
The new sera flore CO2 active reactors 500 and 1000 with twin rotor supersede the generation of static CO2 generators. The rotors, the upper one of which is designed as a lamella rotor, ensure strong blending of CO2 with the aquarium water, allowing to dissolve several hundred CO2 bubbles per minute.

Sera Flore co2 Reactor
This has nothing to do with Aqua Cave-no problems and great service. I'm not impressed with the materials and operation of this product. The plastic is very brittle and seems delicate. The gray hose fittings on my fluval 407 are very precarious when mounted to the unit (I think more of a fluval problem-they're terrible). I ended up changing to vinyl tubing so i could sleep at night. The co2 hose nipple is very fragile. Heat the tubing before installation. During operation it is noisy. The mixing impeller rattles and the water going through makes a trickling sound. On the positive side, it does mix co2 into the water well. Even with a high amount of co2 injection there are no bubbles in the return effluent. I would not consider this for future tank setups. For the relative cost I'd go with an inline diffuser.
