Hard to find pump since my "brand name" no longer sells the pump this fits in. Ordered easily, received quickly and in good order. Installed and pump is good for hopefully 4 or 5 more years.

    BlueLine / CoralLife Pump Parts

Posted by Paul on May 29th 2015

I ordered this as a replacement part for my Corallife turbo Sea 1740P pump. I first sent Aquacave a question about compatibility of CoralLife and BlueLine pumps. The answer:

These [CoralLife] are the same pumps as our BlueLine units. Please compare output and wattage when comparing models of these two brands.

As usual, Aquacave delivered an excellent product as advertised. I will add that this was the first time I ever replaced parts on a water pump. It was ridiculously easy! I did end up putting aquarium-safe silicon at the interface of the new impeller volume and the existing metal motor housing... This addressed a tiny bead of water that formed. It's been running perfectly and drip less since installation!
