ReefBreeders Meridian 24 Edge Bar Bundle

What you notice first

Most people see it before they measure anything. The tank looks clearer, almost as if it has shifted into high definition. Coral edges become more defined, natural textures become visible, and the reef looks sharper from every viewing angle rather than only from straight on. What the corals do

Coral results are often dramatic. Colonies grow faster. Long-term slow growers begin putting on new tissue. Frags heal faster. Corals produce colors their keepers had never seen under previous lighting. Growers running the Meridian have reported major improvements within three months, often including completely new growth patterns and color expression.

The spectrum behind it

The Meridian delivers an extended violet range running from 400nm through 440nm, including true 440nm indigo LEDs. Those wavelengths are rarely included in aquarium lighting, and they are the ones tied to rapid tissue recovery, strong color development, and steady growth that limited-spectrum fixtures struggle to match. What the two Edge bars add

Each Edge bar adds up to six inches of coverage. They mount on the Meridian's front and rear tracks using the included Edge Articulating Mounts, so each bar can be angled in toward the rockwork or out toward the glass rather than sitting fixed.

That puts light on corals from more than one angle, which is what the Edge bars were built to do: healthier, more evenly developed growth instead of light arriving from directly overhead only. The Ocular Holo Matrix optics focus that output rather than scattering it, with enough intensity to reach into tanks thirty inches deep or more.

Choosing your configuration

Two choices at checkout: the Meridian's LED layout, and the spectrum for the Edge bars. Both bars ship in the spectrum you pick, which makes six configurations in total. Here is what each one gives you.

Original

Shallow Reef

Every Edge bar runs two independent channels, with the LED cluster below repeating along the length of the bar. Both bars in this bundle ship in the spectrum you select.

Reefer 14K

White, blue, and UV

Choose this if you want a natural look carried out to the front and back of the tank.

Royal blue and cool blue

• A blend of royal blue and cool blue
• Tuned for maximum fluorescence and color pop
• No white LEDs, so it adds nothing white to whatever the Meridian is doing

UV/Blue Hybrid

Royal blue, near-UV, violet, and indigo

• A mix of royal blue, near-UV, violet, and indigo

• Balances against the extra white LEDs in the Shallow Reef layout

The two choices work together. The Meridian sets the base look of the tank and the Edge bars decide what happens at the front and back of it. Pick bars that reinforce the layout you chose, or bars that lean the other way to balance it. Every channel is adjustable in the app either way.
