Reef Octopus Classic 150INT Protein Skimmer
A member of the Reef Octopus Classic Series, this popular in-sump skimmer will provide great filtration for aquariums up to 210 gallons. As with every Reef Octopus protein skimmer, the Classic 150INT is constructed of high-quality cast acrylic and features an easy to adjust gate valve, a quick release neck for easy cup removal, cup drain, bubble diffuser, o-ring sealed union pump mount, air shredding Aquatrance 2000s pinwheel pump and air silencer. It requires 1/2 inch of clearance to remove the cup.

Great Skimmer
I am quite new to aquatics, had another skimmer first, but after a few weeks it did not work anymore. then read a lot of reviews about skimmers and then decided on the REEF OCTOPUS CLASSIC 150INT PROTEIN SKIMMER due to the very good reviews. I have to say that was the best decision. The material is a whole lot better, the setup and the performance he brings are sensational. It took about 2 days then he has already brought the performance I expected. With the gate valve it allows me to fine tune the water level. Does not cost much more like others but the performance is the best.<br>I recommend this skimmer to every new or experienced aquarist.

Awesome skimmer
My favorite part about this skimmer is the gate valve. I had one before that used a pvc tube which you would turn to adjust the flow but I could never seem to get it right. With the gate valve it allows me to fine tune the water level in the skimmer. It has a little bit bigger footprint than some other skimmers, but well worth it.

Great Skimmer
Top Quality Skimmer. Best one I've ever owned and I've had a few in my 14 years in this hobby. The manual says it must be 6-8 inches under water but I've found it best perform to have the output valve above water. Im very please of what the skimmer pulls out and how easy to remove the cup for cleaning. Im well satisfied and i'd highly recommend to anyone purchasing a new skimmer.
