The ReefSense Salinity & Temperature probe can be connected to the ReefControl Lite or Pro controllers, providing real-time monitoring, notifications, and logs. Both the Salinity and temperature readings can be used individually to automatically control DC equipment, such as solenoids or cooling fans, or AC equipment, such as heaters, when used in combination with ReefControl Power.
The bespoke 4-pole conductivity sensor provides superior performance in the challenging environment of a reef aquarium. The automatically temperature-compensated Salinity values can be displayed in PSU(ppt), mS, or S.G. are accurate to +/-1%. Temperature values are accurate to 0.05 degrees Celsius.
