Buy the A-mount instead
The gooseneck is very hard to bend and difficult to adjust in height while keeping it pointing straight down. You definitely need two hands so that you don't crack the glass where the clamp is connected. Trust me it's hard to bend. Just buy the A- mount for 65 which looks better and you can hide the wires

Buy the A-mount instead
I bought the gooseneck thinking I'd save money, bad idea. I'm going to actually order the A-mount for $65, looks way better and you can hide the wires, and you don't have to worry about cracking your glass while trying to bend the gooseneck. With the gooseneck its difficult to get the right height adjusted while bending it to keep it pointing straight down. Trust me it's hard to bend.

Not bad, but not brilliant
I bought this to mount a 160 on my 15G nano tank.

First of all, the build quality is fantastic, it's a rock solid piece of hardware. My only minor complaint is that on smaller tanks it can be difficult to get the required bend angle on the goose neck. It does struggle on smaller tanks to make a nice 'n' shape, the lamp tends to sit at a wide angle. That said, it's not a big deal.

Aesthetically and Functionally Displeasing
One star because it is sturdy, second star because it technically works. Considering the low profile of the Kessil LED pendants, this gooseneck mount is such an eye sore. At no point can this be bent in a 90 degree angle so you're left with a large arching pole that raises well above the fixture itself. Depending on the size of the tank, you may not even be able to get this positioned over the tank. I bought this initially to attach my A160 over a 10 gallon nano and have it at full bend just to stay over the tank. Glad I didn't opt for the 90 degree hanging adapter as there's no way this would flex enough to allow the light be positioned over the tank. Since my plans are to place the light over my 55 gallon, I know it will be more practical looking over that, but it's such an eye sore for such a sleek looking fixture that I will likely be looking into other mounting options or possibly hanging.

Great way to mount these lights.
I ordered this for hanging my 360w over my 45 gallon jbj rimless and it works awesome. I wanted something to hang this besides using the ceiling and couldn't ask for anything better. The only thing bad about this setup is having the wires zip tied to it because it's kind of ugly.

a bit pricey considering
I feel like the price point on this is a little high. As I was installing it one of the plastic screws broke. Kessil did send one out immediately without issue, but I've been a bit underwhelmed by the quality.

I feel like for this price the 90 degree adapter should be included, especially as I feel like it is really necessary to make this light hang at the right height.

I also found that it is a common situation that the metal bracket at the bottom is under the water surface. I asked publicly about this and many replied theirs did the same thing. So I emailed Kessil and they said it was not going to harm the bracket or the tank, but it still bothers me to have metal in my tank like that.

Aside from these points, it does fit and work, but I'm just a bit unimpressed with it overall.

A
Good mounting option. Very sturdy and easy to set up. I can understand this being a separate purchase for a150s, but kessil really should have included this in a360s considering the crazy price jump...
