Great light
I've had 1 of these running on a 60 gal cube and it is working out great. Beautiful shimmer and look overall. Have a few coral (zoas, mushrooms) that are thriving under this light. I have the spectral controller running this and it all works great so far.

Great Shimmer
Bought 2 of the 160 for my 40g reef tank. Light has a nice light spread and controlling the different shades of light is really nice. Corals seems to like them.
I only have 1 complaint about the lights. The low level humming from the fans in the light. If the lights are on and nothimg else is on in the room you can them. If you have the TV on you barely hear them.

Great Product
Have a pair of these over a Red Sea reefer 250. Shimmer is great as well as the quality. Lights are a lot more powerful than people give them credit for. Only been ramping up to around 50-60%. Everything in the tank from softies to lps are doing great.

Excellent shimmer
Amazing quality, beautiful lighting. I would have giving this 5 stars if it had a true actinic diode on it or if it could dim down below 5%. I bought the controller for it and thought it would. A lot of us have corals that fluoresce and want to see it at night and sometimes the light is too bright at 5 %.

Beautiful Light, Wish for Slightly More Control at Low Levels
I have this running on a tank on the opposite side of the room from a pair of AI Nano Super Blues. The Kessil has better depth of color, but I expect the considering it is three years newer. One slight downside compared to the AI, is that the Kessil can't go quite as dim. When it transitions from its lowest setting to off, it's a stark change, always catching my attention fairly dramatically, especially when compared to the AIs, which barely catch my attention when they turn off from their lowest settings. (I am using the Kessil Spectral Controller with this.) That aside, this is an incredible light, and well worth the expensive over that of the Kessil A150, which I replaced with this. The A150 had a VERY loud fan, which other reviewers of it have mentioned. While still audible, the fan on the Kessil A160WE is quite enough that it doesn't bother me at all. This unit is running on a 5 gallon pico tank. It's way more power and dispersion than the tank needs, but my LPS and softies are thriving equally as well as similar ones under my AI Nano lights. This is a great little unit, and I highly recommend it.

Amazing
I've messed around with T5 and various cheap LED options before finally biting the bullet and going for the Kessil.

I'm not disappointed! It's an amazing little light, runs very cool doesn't seem to generate all that much heat at.

The lighting though, it's fantastic, being able to adjust it to control the blue light is just incredible.

My only complaint is similar to one of the other reviews in that it doesn't go below 10%, just straight to off. It's not a deal breaker but it would've been nice to have.

It's money well spent and honestly I'm sorry i didn't take the plunge and spend the money earlier.

Great Product
Great product , beautiful bright light . Doesn't heat up and the natural sun shimmer in the water is magnificent.

Perfect over a nano that needs good lighting
After much research I decided to go with the Kessil for my 20 tall and I have not been let down. It is a very strong light and so I am still acclimating my corals to the intensity I want. The colors are great. The actinic could be a little bluer, but the rest are perfect.

My one complaints is the light doesn't dim below 10%, it just turns off. This is a known issue with Kessil though, but I was hoping they would have fixed it by now. Especially as this light came out after the spectral controller which is supposed to dim below 10% on compatible lights. So I'm just annoyed this one wasn't made compatible.

And as promised, it has great shimmer!

Excellent!
I just got one of these about a week ago, and am now waiting on the controller. So far, this light is awesome! My corals are opening up great, and none seem to be affected by the change from T5HO to LED lighting. Still not ramping it up past 50-60%. I have it over a 29 gallon, at 30" long, and there is no side shadowing which I was concerned about. I may still purchase another one so they can overlap.
