The IceCap K3 150HOB Protein Skimmer is a compact hang-on-back protein skimmer ideal for aquariums up to 250 gallons. The shape of the skimmer body requires minimal space behind the aquarium and its pump is mounted externally for less heat-to-water exchange.

I’ll keep it as a backup
Leaked like crazy when I got it. That in turn ruined the dc pump for a few days because water must have gotten into it. Went with another brand for the time being, maybe when that one dies I will try this again. If I was going to do it again, for 300$ I would have to pass.
