Hydro Sponge 3 PRO Aquarium Filter
The Hydro-Sponge Pro is the newest product line among our family. The Hydro-Sponge Pro like the Hydro-Sponge is made in all the same sizes but unlike the Hydro-Sponge line it uses reticulated foam. This gives the sponge itself almost double the efficiency as compared to the Hydro-Sponge.
The Hydro-Sponge PRO aquarium filters provides both mechanical and biological filtration. Aerobic bacteria colonize the sponge, providing a bacterial substrate to facilitate the nitrogen cycle. In addition, the Hydro-Sponge traps larger waste particles, mechanically cleaning the water without trapping the baby fish.

The Original is still the Best
This is the original sponge filter from ATI. All other sponge filters sold are just clones and counterfeits of this one. It has been updated with reticulated foam to hold even more bacteria. It is the best foam filter you can buy.

Amazing Results
In our 29 gallon tank, we had been using a Power filter that hung onto the edge of the tank. It was rated higher than the tank volume and we took great care to change filter media as directed. However we kept getting green fuzzies on the inside of the tank walls, fish appeared sluggish, and the water was always a bit hazy. Even added a bubbler and little change. The week we added this filter, the water became clearer, the fish appeared to have more energy, and the green scum did not come back once we scrubbed it off. Now we are starting another tank and this is the filter I want to start off with.

Best Sponge Filter
The Hydro Pro 3 Sponge filter is the best sponge filter that I have. I have used many different types of filters over the years including sponge filters but this is by far the best. My water is crystal clear and my water tests have been great since using it.<br> I also have to say that this company offers great service. Quick delivery and customer satisfaction is priority.
