Truly versatile, these powerheads feature suction cups/clamps to fit most frames, variable flow control, horizontal and vertical flow adjustment. The Quick Filter turns power heads into "quick filters" for rapid removal of debris, the Quick Filter Cartridge is extra thick for expanded waster removal capacity.

AquaClear Powerheads add power to the flow equation. Each AquaClear Powerhead produces head that can actually lift the water as well as move it. This power translates into stronger currents and consistent output over time. AquaClear Powerheads incorporate the most advanced water pump technology that makes them truly quiet performers. The integrated "Flow Control Venturi" provides top control of both water flow and air infusion. You decide how much water movement you hear, the pump itself is silent.

Adding a powerhead to an undergravel system increases water flow through a gravel substrate and improves its filtering efficiency. It also oxygenates water and, in the process, provides needed oxygen to colonies of beneficial bacteria in the gravel which optimizes their biological filtration capabilities.

Easily fitted to most undergravel systems. Powerhead comes equipped with a tapered riser stem adapter which accepts .5" to 1.125" tubing. Rim clamp firmly holds it in place atop the riser stem and an optional suction cup bracket which allows the unit to hang from an aquarium wall instead of the rim.
