Corrosion-resistant, fast heating titanium tube is engulfed with well fitted heater guard to ensure the safety of one's aquatic inhabitants and surrounding equipment. Maintains Water Temperature within +/-2º F of the setting value. Memory Chip to restore previous settings. Fused technology to create a precision digital control that maintains water temperatures at a constant level. In case of a power failure, heaters are equipped with memory to bring you tank back to it's original settings without any unfortunate mishaps upon power return.

Love these heaters
I love these heaters ,i keep the digital read out above the tank you can see it from across the room ,i have a digital thermometer as well as a glass thermometer and the heater reads exactly the same as both .the cord is long enough to plug in on a 3ft high tank .it has a cover to protect both fish and shrimp .i would recomend this heater to anyone who needs an accurate fish safe heater with a clear digital read out.the shipping from aquacave as always fast and well packaged.5 star product.

Works great
This heater works great. It held the temperature with in one degree of the setting and the displayed temperature was spot on. You can see the display from across the room so its easy to check the tank temp with just a glance. I like this heater and I will defiantly be buying a second one. Now we need to see how well it holds up over time.. I will post again when I know more.

Great heater. Great control
This heater is awesome. Easy to install looks great at the bottom of the tank. Easy to read the digital temp control. The only thing bad is I wish the cord was longer from the plug to the control. But other wise awesome heater.

Excellent heater, the heater guard is a nice addition.
I've had several Finnex heaters that have all performed well. So naturally I checked Finnex when I was searching for a heater for my rubbermaid stock tank I was setting up in the basement. The heater guard gave me the additional comfort as it wouldn't rest directly on the stock tank wall. Setup was easy and the temperature is accurate to within a degree. My only complaint is really my personal preference, I wish the cord between the heater and controller had been longer. The controller is made to clip to the rim of the tank and I'd have preferred to mount it on the side.
