The electronic thermostat operates with an exceptional precision (+/- 0.25° C) to maintain a constant temperature in the tank. This ensures that even the most sensitive of aquarium animals will stay comfortable at all times. Temperatures can be set in the range between 20 and 33 °C, which means that the heater can be used in treating various fish diseases, including white spots. In addition, the ULTRA HEATER has a builtin system to prevent overheating of the tank water in hot weather.
Thanks to its unbreakable plastic housing, the ULTRA HEATER is ideal for use in tanks where large and strong fish or even water turtles are kept. At the same time, the heater is totally safe and does not cause burns in even the most sensitive animals, e.g. catfish or rays.

Gives what it promises
First reason you'll buy is because of it's form factor. A slim, black heater fades into a black background very well.

What the heater does a poor job of explaining is it's SHS (Smart heating system). Though this heater is 200W, I've only had it hit that once or twice. I've run a meter in my line and found this heater will step up starting from 18W to 24W, to 38W, etc.. until it reaches its goal temp. To rather than full bore each time it starts, it will increase incrementally. Much more power efficient while still reaching 190W (highest I recorded) when you missed your goal temp during a water change.

Highly recommend. Expensive up front, but will pay for itself through your power bill within a couple months as compared to standard glass heaters. Never had a titanium heater to test, so unsure how well they perform, but certain that this is the most efficient heater I've come across
