Tunze Turbelle Nano Stream 6055 High Flow Water Pump with Controller

This is a fantastic pump. Much more powerful than I expected. I guess my old pumps don't turn over as much water anymore as they are rated to do. I love the pulse/ wave feature, and the power level adjustment was very welcome when I found the pump could easily kick up all the sand in my tank. I now run it at around 50% on about 3-second intervals, and it keeps all the water in my 200-litre tank well circulated.

If you have a 120-gallon reef tank, these are pound-for-pound the best pumps that money can buy and are worth every penny of the price of these pumps. I currently run two of the 6055s on my 120 display. I just got rid of my MAXSPECT Gyre XF130's and i am so glad i did.. The TUNZE's out performs the MAXSPECT gyres & Ecotech MP 40'S since I have owned both pumps in the past.. Also, they push a ton of water for such a little pump and build solid and ZERO noise when running full blast. In my opinion, these are the best pumps on the market. It is highly recommended that you have a 65 to 120-gallon tank.

I purchased this pump because my other pump was irritating due to the constant humming during cycling. This one is silent, has a similar flow, and has a good wave action controller and fish-feeding function. I am very pleased.

Purchased this model along with a few other brands when getting back into reefkeeping. Tunze has earned it's place in my equipment line up and I will always recommend their product. I have 3 of these now and they just keep doing their job. 5 stars!

I purchased 2 Tunze Streams about 11 years ago and was instantly sold on the product as they are very dependable and quiet. 11 years later and those pumps are still running without flaw. When it came time to purchase additional pumps for my custom built 46g cube, I could not think of any other pump for me to use as not only are thy dependable but dead silent as well as efficient and they have GREAT customer service. Now if only they could come out with something similar to the Vortech's they would be untouchable. I have since purchased many products from them and will continue to do so.

Originally got a 6025 to replaced a failed Hydor & was instantly sold on Tunze. Yes they're more expensive than a comparably-sized Hydor but worth every single dollar - quality, features, often significantly less power consumption, quieter. Next Tunze I got was this 6055 about 1 1/2 years ago, & had no trouble controlling it via my Apex. How many Hydor plastic "base" shafts have we all broken over the years when simply trying to adjust the angle of flow? Forget that mess, get a Tunze & you'll be glad you did.

I got this item to replace some non-controlled powerheads and this thing can really give the water some movement. I have other pumps working with it, but this pump is wonderful. I can tell my fish are already much happier already just with this increase in flow and the quality stream it provides before it starts to vere off and be less directed.<br><br>I do not think I can go back to other pumps. Tunze makes a really great unit that I would happily spend the money for again and again.

The Tunze 6055 packs a lot of flow for its small size. I bought 2 of these for a 5 foot tank and am very pleased with them. They are much smaller than the regular Tunze Streams so they are more inconspicuous and easier to blend in. The pumps run absolutely silent to the point the when I first plugged them in I thought they were not running! The magnets are very strong and hold the pump in place very well.<br>Two thumbs up for the Tunze nano stream 6055
