NYOS Floating Fish Trap
Innovative, cordless principle
With conventional fish traps, catching fish is complicated since a mechanism for catching the fish usually has to be activated by via a line. With the Nyos FLOATING FISH TRAP on the other hand, only the magnetic connection is released as soon as a fish is in the trap. An air body at the opening of the trap ensures a quick 90 degree turn and buoyancy of the trap and the fish.
Flexibility thanks to the magnetic holder
The fish trap can be attached to the aquarium pane with the magnetic holder. This enables a flexible position in the aquarium. The trap can be placed close to the surface of the water so that the food can be conveniently added with the pipette supplied.
Compact dimensions
The Nyos FLOATING FISH TRAP is compact and is quickly accepted by the fish due to its round, transparent design.
Note:
Designed for glass thicknesses from 8-15mm
Trap Diameter: 6"
Opening Diameter: 2.8"

Surprising good
I caught my 5” powder blue tang with this trap in less than 20 minutes. The magnet that comes with the trap is not very strong, but you can use it on thicker glass (3/4”) if you have a stronger magnet.

Worth every penny
Took a couple of days for the problem angel to go it but once he did it worked beautifully.

Pleasantly surprised
Wasn’t sure how effective this trap was going to be, but within minutes I captured both my chromis. Highly recommend!

NYOS Floating Fish Trap
Expensive but works great. Put it in my tank to remove two fish. Just let it sit for a few days before I added food. Before I baited it I caught one of the fish. First fish I just pulled the magnet with my hand. For the second fish I needed to add a string but it worked great.

Nyos fish trap
Purchased a black banded wrasse. He ate 1 of my coral. Installed the trap and allowed all of the fish to get calm with its presence. As soon as the lights came on the next day, dropped in some pellets into the trap from the hole on top. The wrasse is first in. Pulled the magnet, caught. Its expensive, but worth every bit of the $70. Can't imagine trying to use some of the other fish traps other competitor's sell. Love this fish, but he's not coral safe. His new home is in the sump.

Nyos fish trap
Pricey, but an excellent purchase, well built with a strong magnet, caught a Foxfish after 2 days of set up. Also can add frozen, dry and seaweed to it. Never have to use a net again or tear down my aquascape
