Excellent! Reliable, quiet and powerful!
Hands down the best internal return pump I've used - ran dry so many times and still works. It's powerful and quiet.

Great pump
I bought this pump to replace a still functioning Savio pond pump. The Savio uses 500+W so if the Fluval Sea Sp6 lasts only 4 months, it will pay for itself. I run it 24 hours a day.

I was nervous if it could handle the head pressure. I have a 2", 70 foot run with at least one 90 and probably 5 ft of elevation. It's doing GREAT. It has less flow than the Savio but I actually like it better because the waterfall isn't as loud. When I used to stand next to the waterfall, I had trouble hearing people.

As for the noise of the pump itself I can't say. I have mine submerged so it's going to be quiet.... which it is.

I have only had it working for a couple of weeks so "time will tell", but hopefully it will be working for years.
High flow very quiet
This pump moves a lot of water and is very quiet. Please note the size as it was larger than I thought.

Major Water Flow
So I purchased this pump because it has by far the largest GPH of any pump its size. I was very skeptical. I hooked the pump up to my 150 gallon Saltwater aquarium and WOW was I surprised. I have about 5ft of head pressure and still getting about 4.5 gallons per minute (2700 GPH). Basically I tested it with a 5 gallon bucket and a timer. It amazed me. The pump is very quiet and does not dissipate much heat. I would recommend this to anyone who wants tons of water flow.
