48" hlc helped bring out the red and blue colors in my fish. Light can definitely go pretty bright. Have not tried out many features on it. Just use two memory settings. Plastic legs when slid on to light are very loose. Not a fan of them at all, should be more snug. Design of the light is sleek. If the remote quits working you have no other way to control anything. You are at the mercy of the remote. Would I buy again? Not sure....Lighting is great. Other things, not so much.

Very pleased with this light. Colors and shimmer are amazing. Very bright too. The 24/7 color control mode is a great feature you won’t find anywhere else at this price point. You set the intensity and color at 3 hour increments and it gently ramps between time slots. Really like the feature but would be better if time slots where smaller. Overall a great feature though. My only real complaint is the length of the power cord to the brick is laughably short. My stand is tall, my tank is tall, so it has trouble reaching where I want to mount the power brick. Probably not an issue for someone with a less tall aquarium/stand (top of mine sits at 67”). Can’t say how well this grows plants yet, but I’m very optimistic. Wish I could trade in my more expensive current USA light for another one of these finnex lights!
