Exactly what I wanted to add a sump to my 75 gallon
Installation took a couple of minutes, project took about a day. Tear down a currently running system. Drag tank outside. Taped acrylic template to tank. Checked fit/alignment of parts. Placed $5 diamond hole saw in drill. Rechecked fit/alignment. Dragged garden hose over to tank. Rechecked fit/alignment. Drilled hole while crossing fingers. 5 minutes later, installed kit. Put everything back into tank.<br><br>Used Herbie overflow design with 300 GPH return pump. Overflow has no problem keeping up. The gate valve is about 1/3 open.<br><br>I modified the template to get the top of the black box under the plastic frame of my aquarium for a higher water level.<br><br>Deducted a star for product description issue and no installation instructions. The pictures and description of the product state "Red PVC for safety purpose." I received a regular white PVC pipe complete with manufacturing print, which went into the trash.<br>
