Built solid as a rock and for the long haul
Bought an Eheim 1260 for a 46g cube. Pump has great flow and head pressure and ran for 4 years without even a hiccup. The pump is built solid, efficient and operates quietly with just a minor hum that is bearable but not completely silent. Ended up switching it out for a DC pump as I was trying to find something quieter as my set up was a little loud and being in my family room, I wanted it as quiet as possible. That being said, I never felt as confident running the DC pump as I did running the Eheim. Would definitely buy another Eheim if the need arose.

I have used this pump for 6 years now. It works really well and is reliable. Well worth the price in my opinion. The price here is about $40 less than at my local fish store.
