Great where you need a skinny container
I have an aquarium but I'm not using this container there. As it happens they/re so skinny they fit in the window channel for the side window of our RV, a Carado Axion. I can fit two in the channel, braced by a paper towel roll. Our freshwater tank holds 18 G, and these increase the capacity to around 19 1/2 G. <br><br>The main points for people on this website are that they don't impart a plasticky flavor to the water, so you can use them for potable water. The second is that they don't seem to leak. There are other slimline containers out there for roughly the same price only with spigots and larger filler caps,. I'd prefer those for my application only they have a bad reputation for starting to leak after a few months. These seem more sturdy and less prone to failure.

Great dosing container
I now have 3 of these for my CAL,ALK, MAG! Put a 1/4" bulk head in the cap and use an acrylic rod to the bottom for dosing nice and slim fit!
