No other membrane can match the SpectraSelect™ for long life and the ability to remove silica phosphates, nitrates, and heavy metals. SpectraPure® SpectraSelect™ membranes are individually tested and hand picked for consistent ultra-high rejection that has the highest known rejection rate of all reverse osmosis membranes available. They are also treated with a proprietary process to enhance the rejection & production rates. SpectraSelect™ Membranes are standard equipment in our UHE RO/DI Systems. The SpectraSelect™ Ultra-High Rejection Membrane is also available as a replacement option for most Reverse Osmosis Systems. All 25 to 90 GPD membranes will fit in our standard membrane housing.

Spectra Pure Standard 90 GPD RO Membrane 
I've been running RO systems for over 3 decades for reef aquariums, beer brewing and general household uses. On my last membrane, I was putting 360TDS water in and getting 6 or 7TDS out. The membrane simply got old enough that I wanted to freshen it up. I read the Spectrapure had a guaranteed 96% rejection rate so that should have put me around 14 TDS. I found that 24 was the best I could get and it take an extremely long time to get there, which was filling my tanks with an average of over 100. Spectrapure agreed it was out of spec and said Aquacave should replace it. Aquacave told me to take it up with Spectrapure. I should have bought it directly with Spectrapure.
