NO3:PO4-X Contains a unique complex of carbons that are used by nutrient-reducing bacteria. Each carbon is utilized by different strains of microorganisms while maintaining the specific Carbon: Nitrogen: Phosphorus ratio required for each stage. The complex includes other organic bonded elements that are important stimulators in each stage of the reduction process. The fine control of the nitrate and phosphate levels provided by monitored dosing of NO3:PO4-X guarantees the gradual changes and accurate maintenance of the nutrient levels, preventing destruction of the zooxanthellae population that can cause UV shock and starvation of the corals.
Unlike some other low-nutrient regimes, correct use of NO3:PO4-X will maintain all of the beneficial micro fauna.
NO3:PO4-X is also recommended as a complete carbon source for use with carbon based de-nitrators.

guys this stuff works, throw away your reactors
if you want to make your life simple just dose this every day. i started with a 500ml bottle and skepticm. i quickly became a believe, upgraded to this 1l bottle and have recommended this to friends which dose as well. my nitrates were 35 in my tank and i was a slave to water changes. not anymore. i now have x3 the amount of fish and my nitrate stays at .5. i have so many fish i need a lid so they don't jump out, all thanks to nopox!!!

Very good product
I was sceptical about using this but I did anyway and I'm so impressed !! My nitrates were at 30 and above for several months in my reef aquarium and couldn't get them down no matter what I tried.. only after 3days my nitrates are now at 5 and dropping fast !! I wish I would've tried this earlier as I am now a loyal user of Red Sea NO3:PO4-X Nitrate & Phosphate reducer... Hope this review helps someone else.

Great product.
The only one works great to me. I can throw away all PhosBan, Pirugen, Bio pellets. This liquid works absolutely amazing reducing both Phosphate and Nitrate.
