The unique faucet pump enables the siphoning of water efficiently without spills. And unlike garden hoses and most gravel vaccums, the Python system uses UV-stabilized tubing, which eliminates the possibility of adding hose-borne toxins to fish tanks.

Love this thing!
Awesome if you have a freshwater aquarium! Saltwater aquariums require RO/DI water but this is still somewhat helpful to drain the dirty water into the sink.

Works
Good way to fill and drain tank using water pressure from a sink. The shutoff valve is a nice feature to prevent issues.

A Must Have for Maintenance
I have been using a Python No Spill Clean and Fill for more years than I can remember and I love it so much that I bought a second one for another area in my house (multiple tanks). I also bought the faucet adapter so I can attach it to a non standard faucet in my sunroom. I also use it to fill my small pond feature in my house. This really is a must have if you own an aquarium.

Will never go back to buckets!
I used to do water changes the old fashioned way with the gravel vac and 5 gallon bucket. Huge waste of time and lots of muscle lugging buckets out to dump. This makes it so much easier because you can take out the dirty waste and fill with clean water all with one convenient hose. This is a must have!

Recommend to buy.
Few comments. First of all this is a great device. Sucks like none other. Second, if you live in a 400 sq ft studio apartment 25' is a bit long. I think I will be getting the 10 footer as it is impossible to dry the 25 footer unless you have a lot of space to lay it out. Thirdly we saw that they use it on Animal Planet's Tanked. That's legit. You have to buy it now.
