The tong grip is terrific because I can pick up a penny coin lying flat upon wood flooring.

this is one of the must haves for any tank owner. whether fresh or salt water, it is an awesome product. i researched different types of aqua tongs, and these were rated the best. Since it is made for aquariums, it is definitely waterproof. rinse well with fresh water after several uses in saltwater to keep the internals from caking up.
