Neptune Systems Flow Sensor - 1" with unions - FS100

Usually used with a return pump, this flow sensor can be placed in line with the flow on any pipe, connected to the FMM, and communicate to your Apex the flow rate of water through that pipe.

The flow sensor itself uses BSPP threads so for North American customers we have included two specially designed PVC unions with slip fittings to adapt it to standard 1″ PVC plumbing.  The FS-100 will work with flow rates from 150-1500 gph.

    works perfect

I have a custom plumbing setup with part of my return flowing through my UV filter this allows me to maximize flow through the filter and through the return jets by monitoring both. fantastic for all of us that love to tweak every part of our system!

    Great but not perfect!

These flow meters are a great option for me because I travel a lot and want as much information about my tank as possible. But you have to be careful when you install them or you will get skewed readings. Too close to an elbow or reactor and they will just show 0 gph so I had to rebuild my plumbing to get them working.

Product works great as long as you understand Apex "Speak"

I have 3 of these flow meters on my reefer 250; one measures the drains so I know if they get clogged, etc, one measures the primary turn so I know how my pump is doing and the final one measures the throughput to my carbon reactor. It helps me fine tune the GPH and also tells me when the flow slows down. Since I have a DC return pump I can see how my adjustments are doing and also see how much flow is going at full power to compare to the specs on the pump. Since I travel a few days a week I really need to know if there are problems before they turn into damage.
