Sucks!!
Absolutely a failure! It leaks no matter what you try! I used their blue gasket and did exactly what they said! I used plumbers tape.. still leaked! Clamps were too small for it and couldn’t be adjusted to go on smaller part. I’m returning it!!

IceCap 40w UV Sterilizer A+
Beat dinoflagellates!!
After trying a much larger, and more expensive 40 Watt UV sterilizer with little to no change, not to mention an eyesore beside the tank I decided to try this guy out as a last ditch effort before I rebooted my entire system.

PRO* This unit was small enough to plumb into my return with the hardware provided, under by cabinet and within 2 weeks there are no traces of Dino.

Con* The only thing I could complain about is the mounting brackets didn't have screws, and have to be put on the Light before it's mounted. The mounts are impossible to close when mounted correctly, and have to be "Slid" into place from the smaller part of the pipe.

Overall, if someone were to ask me what UV to go with, I would recommend this over the MUCH larger and MUCH more expensive options that are both an eyesore and in my experience didn't perform as this small unit did.
