Wished I’d bought one a long time ago
Hi, I’m thoroughly pleased with this product. My first photometer tester . It was amazingly simple and incredibly accurate. Planning on purchasing more. Thank you so much

must have
pricey but worth it, accurate and easy to use, love this little tool, have had it for 8 years now, same battery???? yep

Quality product
an excellent product, greatly facilitates the life of the aquarist, you no longer have to try to determine the color visually. But 736 shows three times more accurately.

Loving the ease of use.
Just wondering why all testers are not this easy to use.

Quality product
This instrument makes all other household checkers a thing of the past. If you want accuracy at a reasonable price, hanna products are the way to go.

Digital output is good but using the tester is not easy as the steps are confusing and hard to read.
I like not having to compare colors but I still don't even know if I am performing these Hanna tests correctly. The print was so small I had to download a copy from their website just so I could read it. And to me the steps are confusing, sometimes you hold the button down and sometimes you press it but if you hold it down too long it turns off and you have to start over. I think it would be much better if you just press the button once for each progressive step.

Good product
The reagent is a real pain and hopefully Hanna comes with a liquid reagent instead of powder. Overall a good product.

Good product - easy to use
I am glad I have this Phosphate checker. It is easy to use and accurate. Takes about 5 minutes and your done. Good investment if you have a reef tank.

Great Product, Easy to Use and Accurate
Love this meter. It is accurate and worth the money, no more guessing color charts. And best of all, it works with both fresh and salt water aquariums! A must have product.

Finally a easy way to read phosphate levels in your reef tank.
I purchased this unit to help gain control of phosphate levels in my Biocube 29. Until this point I had only used API kits. The Hanna unit was a huge difference by giving you a number instead of a unreadable shade of green. The instructions were clear and easy to understand. My only complaints would be is that it uses powder reagents versus liquid and the unit shuts off after three minutes of inactivity. I can easily overlook a couple shortcomings to gain accuracy of my phosphate levels.

Accurate and best price
I am so happy I ordered this checker if for nothing else peace of mind. My phosphate level was in check and I verified it with this test. Only downside is only 6 test provided. But I only plan on testing a couple days after water change.

Hanna Phosphate Checker
I bought this because I was unsure if the chemical test were right. After the first test my phosphates were much higher than thought. Now I can take action to get my phosphates under control. I would have given this 5 stars but it came with only 6 tests, where other checkers have 25 test that you can do. Why this is only 6?

Good product - very accurate
I have used this Phosphate meter for 2 years. I like it. It gives an accurate reading and is an important tool to have if you have a reef tank. My only suggestion is that Hanna makes the regent a liquid instead of a powder. Not the end of the world but would be an improvement. For less than $50, this is a very good buy.
