Quality construction, but poor design.
The good: Can float or attach to the suction cup provided. (note: my suction cup was green and not clear as shown in picture.)<br>The bad: It is very hard to see the thin red line representing the temp. It requires an exact and offset angle of view in order to see the line. Once you can make out the red line, it is then very hard to make out the associated numbers. Obviously, reading it while it free floats is impossible and requires you to remove it first. :)<br><br>

Plain thermometer
This is a very plain thermometer. It seems to be keeping temperature ok. Just doesn't look the greatest.

Better than the Stick On
I find this glass thermometer to be very accurate then those hard to read Stick on the glass that claim its easy to read. Using the glass thermometer with my digital thermometer, the temperature are just the same.<br><br>Well, the Stick on are very hard to tell the temperature and you basically are just guessing.

SURPRISED AT ACCURACY
Bought 2, and they really are very close to exactly accurate. Easier to read than the digital temp strips, too. It shows the same temp as my chiller. Only had these 2 for a couple months, so I did not give 5 stars, because I don't yet know their wear and tear factor...
