Dolphin Diamond Amp Master 6250 Freshwater Pump

Designed to handle the toughest environments with the reliability of a magnetic drive pump MINUS all the drawbacks, such as heat transfer, noise, and energy consumption. All our Dolphin Diamond Amp Master pumps (3500, 4750, and 6250) include a 3-year factory warranty. When you purchase a Dolphin Pump you are paying for quality in design and materials. Unlike some “private label” pumps that source the entire pump from overseas, we design and choose the highest-grade materials and utilize superior manufacturing standards to provide a reliable, long-lasting, and high-quality product.

The Dolphin pump seals are custom designed and engineered to outperform and outlast other pump seals on the market. Saltwater seals are recommended for all saltwater, reef,custom-designed, and mineral-containing systems, as well as systems containing harsh additives since these environments, are considered abrasive. Our saltwater seals are made with high-grade stainless steel AISI 316 which includes an additive to help fight off corrosion. The harder seal faces combined with the stainless steel 316 are most desirable for applications where salt/mineral exposure is a given, providing extra years of life and usage. For freshwater use, our seal materials and surfaces are designed to provide a much longer service life than typical generic carbon-faced freshwater seals.

DIAMOND AMP MASTER PUMP MODELS:

All Dolphin Amp Master Pumps are manufactured using one impeller custom-designed to operate on each motor with as close to 100% efficiency as possible. Dolphin Pumps redesigned the liquid end (wet end) with parts that are precision molded using state-of-the-art, high tolerance equipment. The new wet end incorporates a custom and unique mechanical seal design, engineered to provide a much higher service life than the seal types found in other pumps. Dolphin Diamond Series wet-ends and impellers are engineered to the highest tolerances and run on the latest generation equipment to produce the extreme specifications using only high-performance plastics.

All polymers selected provide:

· Outstanding impact and crack resistance

· Service temperature range of 4° - 230° F (-20° - 110° C)

Impact strength is reduced at extremely cold temperatures.

· Unaffected by UV light

· Low moisture absorbance

· Ph range: 4 - 10

· Chlorine Resistant

· High abrasion resistance

All Dolphin Pumps have pre-filter priming pots available for installations where water is being drawn up from the source or when pre-filtration of debris is needed.

1.5' EZ PRIMER/STRAINER BASKET

· Optimizes efficiency.

· Reduces mineral build-up in the pump.

Dolphin recommends using the Dolphin EZ Priming Pot in all installations, room permitting. This practice protects the pump and allows the pump to run at peak performance and silence. Cavitation increases pump noise and decreases pump life due to vibration. The best, single, thing that can be done to prevent cavitation is to use a Dolphin EZ basket attached to your pump. This combination provides an easy way to prime the pump and to have sufficient liquid during the start cycle so the pump does not run dry.

Motor Information

The following are Amp limits on the motors associated with the pump models. Please note pump testing is within the Amp specifications of the motors.  NO motor should go beyond the Amp ratings of the motor. The Service Factor of a motor will allow it to go beyond the horsepower (hp), but operation at the service factor over sustained periods of time will shorten the life, speed, and efficiency of the motors.

Please consider all system factors when selecting a pump.
