CPR CS102 Aquarium Overflow Box

A built-in overflow is the most efficient method of draining aquarium water to a filter. If your aquarium does not have built-in overflow, CPR Continuous Siphon Overflows/Prefilters are the best means for getting water from an aquarium to a filter system without expensive modifications to the tank. They quietly skim up to six times more water than units with tubes.

The advantages of CPR Continuous Siphon Overflows/Prefilters include:

  • Adjustable water level allows you to easily change the level in your tank.
  • Black top reduces algae growth.
  • Quiet operation.
  • CS Overflows feature a grated inlet.

    Dependable and Quiet

Posted by Dan on Mar 8th 2016

I purchased this overflow box to replace an Eshopps double U system. It reliably handles the flow without the added noise of the previous overflow box. The only downside is that the protective screen is no longer being offered on this model, as stated on the 'Product Details' tab.

over rated gph? stay quiet once setup properly

Posted by Andy on Sep 26th 2011

I have this overflow box paired with mag 12 pump(rated for 1200gph)initially & seems like it was way too much flow for the overflow box to handle. it had a lot of gurgling no matter how i adjust the vent tube. after i switched to a mag 9.5 (950gph), overflow box was able to quiet down significantly.

    A Good Product

This is a good product for what it is. It handles what it is supposed to handle. I run a Mag24 through mine with no problem. The only drawback is having to use an airlift pump continuously to keep it running.
