The Fluval “U” Internal Filters are ideal for use as a permanent filter system, for supplemental filtration, or as a "quick-filter" to polish water. The U1 offers single stage filtration, while the U2/U3/U4 each offer three stage filtration to ensure optimum water quality.
The ‘flip top’ makes maintenance quick and easy. Simply place the filter vertically or horizontally anywhere in the aquarium using suction cups attached to the back bracket which will tilt if desired. The U2/U3/U4 feature an adjustable 3 way flow with a top output for maximum circulation and oxygenation, an integrated spray bar ideal of even, gentle flow for planted aquariums, or a bottom output for deep water agitation.
